This evening Liverpool lost a football match to Chelsea, I don’t normally care as I am not a huge fan of football, I have always much preferred Cricket and Rugby (Union) to “the beautiful game”. However this game is different as two of my good friends I go to University with, hi Tim, hi Nathan, [...]

What a sh*t day

I have been rained on, ripped off, cheated and generally pissed on by the world today. I’m not going to ask if it could get any worse because you damn well know what is going to happen.
Let me just say this though, bank managers and bank policy makers are a bunch of wankers.
700 hits

I have just checked my page counter and it appears I have hit 700, although this is not a special number I must say I am suprised. 700 hits in 4 months is quite something (as least in my book) for a blog which has next to no publicity!

Well, it is here again – essay deadline day is on its way. This time around it is 12th May so wish me luck and don’t be expecting me to blog all that much over the next 13 days… I hope to have all 12,000 words done for the 9th as I have already done [...]
Don’t think TOO hard, the following can happen…

Today’s Independent will see a poll from ComRes which has the Conservative Party 14 points ahead of the Labour Government. This is a bad poll for the government, not just because it is only four days before Londoners go to the Polls to decide whether RedKen gets to keep his job or whether they plump [...]
Polling data; can we trust it?

The Mayoral race has altered a hell of a lot over the past 12 months, only one year ago it seemed that Ken could not be stopped. The Tories and the LibDems (but especially the Tories) had made a TOTAL hash of finding a candidate to beat the man who defied even the great and [...]
Has Gordon gone into hiding?

The sure sign of trouble for any politician is when he (or she) starts hiding from the general public. The Guardian have an interesting piece on DC and Gordon getting on the same train bound for the Principality of Wales. Brown apparently hopped on the same train bound for the west of Britain as DC [...]
Labour on the rack

Thursday saw Labour suffer a staggering 18% deficit to the Conservative Party, the same day saw the first teachers strike for over 20 years, along with strikes by the Coast Guard. Then it got worse, the oil refinery at Grangemouth in Scotland started shutting down, this is the only such refinery in Scotland.
Labour is now [...]
Vista = useless pile of shite

My experience of trying to work Windows Vista is more or less summed up in this video.
P.S. – Just a note for Bill. Thankyou so much Mr Gates, I really appreciated the fact that I will never get the full four hours of my life which I wasted on Vista back, [...]

It took Tony Blair 10 years to get this sort of press, it has taken the present occupant of 10 Downing Street 10 months. Congratulations Gordon!
