Ed Balls is a fool, we all know this (secretly even Gordon knows this), but yesterday he proved he was not only a fool but also a moral coward. Having caused a backlash from our dear leader by saying “so what?” to the the charge of an ever increasing tax burden to the British people, Balls (whom I think I shall now refer to as “the gutless nob of Normanton”) tried to wriggle out of it by saying Cameron had misheard him and that his actual words were “so weak”.
What is weak is this pathetic excuse for a man who will be out of a seat, if nothing comes up soon, after the next General Election (Normanton is disappearing as a constituency due to the new boundary changes). If this man and his ilk are the future of the Labour Party I would suggest that every Tory M.P. go home to his constituency and prepare for a very long stint on the Treasury Benches.
