Why do they have to take a perfectly good T.V. show and run it into the ground, no don’t answer that I already know. They like the format, they like the ratings and want to drain it for everything they can. Prison Break was one of my favourite all time T.V. shows until they ruined it in Season 3. Now I just don’t care, and when the audience stop caring you know the show is in trouble.
The thing about seasons 1 and 2 were that you had something to care about; season 1 was about a man going into one of the worse places on earth to save his brothers life and season 2 was about their trying to clear his name and maybe end up with their loved ones at the end of it all. But what has happened? They stuck Michael (the main character who went to Prison to save his brother Lincoln from State Execution) in a Panama Prison with people the audience either grew to dislike or mistrust along with a bunch of people they plain don’t care about, kill his girlfriend in the most lame way possible so that when he does get out (which he obviously will do) there is no happy ending for him (love them or hate them, audiences including me like happy endings, it makes us feel good). Then we have Lincoln running round trying to uncover another conspiracy with the aid of Michaels former “celly” Sucre “just trying to do what is right” to try make himself feel better for packing his girlfriend and child off back to the States and all trying save Lincoln’s son (originally named Lincoln Jr.) from these evil people who killed Sarah (Michael’s girlfriend) I just DO NOT CARE ANYMORE!
So I would like to say thankyou to the producers, thankyou to the writers and thankyou to the network for ruining a perfectly good show which should have finished with Season 2.
